Responsibilities include patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, supervision of PTAs and Rehab Techs, and case management. The therapist upholds professional conduct and complies with all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy.Key Responsibilities:Maximize patient function and independence through direct and supervised physical therapyProvide clinical oversight and consultation to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs during individual and group treatments, ensuring efficient resource use and skill developmentEstablish and grow a robust physical therapy programAdvance clinical and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing educationMaintain a valid state license and stay informed on industry trends and healthcare regulationsUnderstand billing models and deliver care aligned with treatment guidelines and expected outcomesAdhere to infection control and environmental safety protocolsCommunicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writingMaintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.QualificationsQualifications/ Licenses:Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy programValid state license to practice as a Physical TherapistPlease note rate range is an estimate and may vary based on skill set and location(s).
