Responsibilities Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, mobility, endurance, pain, and other medical conditions. Determine a treatment plan, perform interventions to improve and enhance patient well‑being, and evaluate patient progress. Evaluate the patient's functional status and physical therapy needs; assist the physician in developing the therapy plan of care. Observe and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition to the supervising nurse and/or physician. Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice. Instruct and inform the health care team, patient, and family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals. Education & Experience Licensure Requirements Current Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice. Current CPR certification. Valid driver's license with vehicle insurance and reliable vehicle access.
