About the Role:

The Clinic Director will lead and oversee the daily operations of an outpatient orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapy clinic, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the achievement of clinical and business goals. The Clinic Director will collaborate with PTs and PTAs to implement evidence-based techniques and rehabilitation protocols. Additionally, this management role involves supervising staff performance, budgeting, and compliance with healthcare regulations to maintain operational excellence. Ultimately, the Clinic Director will drive improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and clinic growth within Santa Cruz County and surrounding areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist or equivalent clinical license in the United States.
  • Experience as a leader in a healthcare or rehabilitation clinic.
  • Strong knowledge of injury prevention, pain management, and effective physical therapy techniques.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and clinic operational management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy.
  • Advanced certification/training.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EMR) systems and clinic management software.
  • Background in health and wellness program development.
  • Master’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and patient engagement strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all clinical functions of the physical therapy clinic.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate clinical staff to ensure high standards of care.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards while managing clinic budgets and resources.
  • Collaborate with external healthcare providers and community organizations to expand clinic services and patient outreach.
  • Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
