  • Shift: 12-hr Days | 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
  • Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist (PT) provides high-quality, patient-centered therapeutic care by managing the full process of physical therapy services for an assigned group of patients. Working in coordination with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team, the PT completes comprehensive assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, and implements therapy programs designed to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. The PT promotes optimal patient outcomes and ensures a positive, compassionate patient experience throughout the continuum of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of physical therapy practice and professional ethics.
  • Assess, evaluate, and document patients' therapeutic and functional status.
  • Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans consistent with physician orders and patient goals.
  • Deliver purposeful, evidence-based therapeutic care to improve patient condition and function.
  • Educate and train patients, families, and caregivers on home exercises, therapy techniques, and the safe use of adaptive or prosthetic devices.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, effective care delivery.
  • Prioritize and manage daily caseload, determine staffing needs, and coordinate handoffs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (required)
  • Licensure: Active State of Florida Physical Therapist License (required)
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Experience: Open to new graduates; prior clinical experience preferred but not required
