Monday - Friday, (8 hours), 9 am- 5 pm or 10 am to 7 pm, NO WEEKENDS!!
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the physical therapy management of patients
- Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention
- Establishes treatment goals and plans treatment to achieve established goals
- Initiates discharge planning from physical therapy
- Implements the treatment program through direct treatment of the patient
- Provides advice and education to patients and family
- Regularly assesses clinical signs and symptoms to determine the effectiveness of treatment, progress of patient towards goals, and the need for modifying goals and treatment
- Discharges patient from physical therapy when the patient has received maximum benefit from physical therapy
- Provides accurate, timely documentation of physical therapy patient management
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Must have Multistate compact Physical therapist license
- Bilingual in Portuguese
- State of New Jersey licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication and documentation skills
- Critical thinking, complex problem solving, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently
