We are currently hiring an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week contract assignment with our client facility, Windsor El Camino Care (Powerback Contracts) located in Hemet, CA (92544).

Please see the position details below:

Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Windsor El Camino Care Hemet, CA 92544
Facility: Powerback Contracts
Schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (30-minute meal break)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Pay Range: $55 $65 per hour (Overtime paid at 1.5x rate)
Days: Sunday through Saturday (Flexible scheduling available)

Job Overview:
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering therapy treatments to restore functional mobility and improve patient independence. The role involves close collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality, patient-centered outcomes within a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments and develop individualized care plans.

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance patient strength and mobility.

  • Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to coordinate and evaluate treatment outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and state standards.

  • Educate patients and families on home exercises, recovery strategies, and safety awareness.

Qualifications:

  • Active California Physical Therapist License (required).

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MPT, or equivalent).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and documentation skills.

  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance.
