Expert Healthcare is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide crucial support in delivering rehabilitative care to our patients. Your contributions will help individuals regain mobility, strength, and function after injury or surgery in a Skilled Nursing setting. As a PTA, you will implement treatment plans, assist with therapeutic exercises, and educate patients and their families about their therapeutic routines. Schedule- Monday Through Friday, No Weekends

Responsibilities

  • Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
  • Conduct therapeutic exercises under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
  • Monitor patients' progress and report changes in condition to the supervising therapist.
  • Educate patients and family members on home exercises and wellness strategies.
  • Document patient care and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure that therapy equipment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Requirements

  • Current and valid PTA license in the state of practice.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Experience in home health or outpatient settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification is required.

Benefits

$25.83hr to $27.54hr
