Position- Physical Therapist

Full Time Role

Worksite: Sykesville, MD 21784

Shift Time: 40 Hours (36 hours Guaranteed)

Hourly Pay rate $39 Per Hour

Patient Assessment:

Evaluate patients' physical conditions through detailed assessments, including mobility, strength, and range of motion.

Treatment Planning:

Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, goals, and needs.

Implementing Therapy:

Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.

Patient Education:

Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.

Progress Monitoring:

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, treatments provided, and patient progress.

Collaboration:

Work with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Rehabilitation Support:

Assist patients in regaining strength and function post-injury or surgery, focusing on rehabilitation goals.

Equipment Management:

Educate patients on the proper use of assistive devices, such as crutches or braces, if needed.

Community Education:

Participate in community outreach programs and workshops to promote physical health and wellness.
