The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:Providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients in Pediatric Otolaryngology.Obtaining comprehensive patient histories and performs physical exam for both new and return patients.Performing pre-operative, post operative and urgent ORL evaluations in the ORL clinic.Assisting with procedures both in the clinic setting and in the operating room.Participates in multidisciplinary clinics and communicate effectively with all members of the team.Ordering necessary diagnostic tests, consultations and procedures and issuing appropriate prescriptions/medications.Actively participating in Department of ORL educational meetings and conferences. Participating in research project opportunities.Working 40 hours per week, four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday and will rotate between Boston, Lexington, Waltham, Needham, Weymouth as well as North Dartmouth and Peabody as neededTo qualify, you must have:A current Massachusetts PA or NP license. If a Nurse Practitioner, must also have a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certificationPrevious OR experience is preferredPrior Otolaryngology/Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
