PAY RATE: $21.21/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Entry-level Technician responsible for creating and producing aircraft placards, ID plates, spray masks, and wire stamping

  • Reads and interprets engineering drawings and customer specifications to determine correct colors, fonts, dimensions, and materials

  • Uses graphic design and production software (Adobe Illustrator, Gerber Omega, PDFs) to design and produce placards

  • Operates foil printers, sign-cutting equipment, engravers, wire stampers, and related equipment

  • Produces exterior paint masking and foreign-language placards to meet aircraft and registration requirements

  • Maintains documentation and material traceability to ensure FAA and inspection compliance

  • Performs equipment maintenance, inventory monitoring, and supports process improvements

  • Adapts to changing schedules and supports aircraft production timelines

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum 1 year of computer experience; graphic design experience preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and similar graphic/production software

  • Ability to use precision measurement tools

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to follow SOPs, safety policies, and quality requirements

  • Working knowledge of Policies & Procedures, Inspection Manuals, and Process Specifications preferred

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
