Planner I, Production Apply

Summary As a Planner I, you will be involved in the day-to-day manufacturing operations by coordinating production planning, managing inventory levels, and helping maximize operational efficiency and profitability. You will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the production process. You will also serve as a main communicator between production teams, operators, and engineers to support and deliver world-class manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Ensure production goals are met by coordinating with outsourced packers Set the production goals and monitor production performance Monitor team's productivity and provide guidance based on production metrics Coordinate weekly meetings among SCM, Marketing, Purchasing and Production Management Teams Analyze gaps between performance and goals and develop an improvement plan Manage the production lifecycle (Product Order - Development - Mass Production - EOP - A/S - EOL) Manage production capacity, including capacity allocation, facility improvement investments, new line development, and LOB management Plan and manage resources, including headcount, investment budget, equipment, and engineer allocation Work closely with production strategy teams to align production KPIs with the company's goals Define appropriate inventory levels and ensure compliance with inventory management policies Monitor material supply flow and identify shortages or bottlenecks involving raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products Create and maintain data (BOM, BOD, Routing, Lead Time, Tact Time, etc.) Collaborate with quality control teams, operators, and engineers to monitor production performance Address and resolve production issues promptly to minimize delays in production Recommend viable solutions to reduce production costs while improving production Communicate with relevant departments regarding production schedule changes Support ESS – Automotive division’s cell internal transactions (SO issuance, shipment planning, and management) Assist with leadership scheduling and operational support Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience 1 to 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the ESS industry Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Leadership and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple metrics Analytical and problem-solving abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
