Field OperationsThe Planner/Scheduler is responsible for the planning and scheduling aspect of all work. Develops job plans and routinely meets with different work groups to resolve scheduling conflicts. Responsible for maintaining the Maximo maintenance management system.Job Functions and Key Responsibilities:Maintain MaximoSet up equipment and preventative maintenance in MaximoDistribute weekly planned weekly work ordersMonitor Open Work OrdersRun Business Objects reportsEnter all downtime/maintenance activities in MaximoClose work ordersMaintain Preventative Maintenance (PM) ScheduleSchedule PM's with SupervisorsCoordinate PM's with other maintenance to ensure minimal downtimeMaintain Equipment FilesMechanical Integrity - add/update when neededMaintain Shutdown ChecksPlanner Scheduler works closely with Maintenance SupervisorReviews work orders for each significant piece of informationAssign work orders needing planning and material to planning backlogAssure work order has approval and authorityPrepare weekly schedule facilitate weekly scheduling meetingPrepare daily schedule for maintenance supervisorReceive and process daily schedule and late work report from previous dayEnter work orders into Maximo to accept charges and close when completeFacilitate maintenance activity with productionMaintain integrity of PM program, i.e., checklists, trigger, frequency, compliance, and schedules using Maximo.Review actual vs. plan on completed work ordersIdentify recurring maintenance problemsOther duties as assignedMinimum Essential Qualifications:Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent3 years' experience operating and maintaining mechanical equipment and processes listed under job duties.Possess and maintain a valid driver's license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.Interpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors.Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to effectively work with minimum supervision.Solid computer skills to include Microsoft Office Software.Ability to think critically and logically to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.Capable of converting verbal or written instructions into productive action.Basic pipe, valve, & fitting knowledge.Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and be able to respond to call-outs as need to fulfill business objectives.Regular and reliable attendance.Preferred Qualifications:3 years plant experience or related experience including use of Maximo.Plant equipment maintenance experience.Physical Demands:Ability to lift, push, and pull at least a minimum of 50lbs.Ability to work in changing climate conditions.Able to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing.Follow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (ex: eye protection, footwear, Nomex).Able to perform work in an industrial environment (indoor or outdoor) with various hazards and noise exposure.Equal Employment Opportunity:Targa Resources provides equal employment opportunities based on merit, experience, and other work-related criteria and without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, age, pregnancy, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
