Today, we partner with artisans around the world who share our vision, creating beautiful, heirloom-quality pieces that can be used – and loved – for generations.The Planning Analyst is responsible for tactical management of Purchase Orders - tracking purchase orders from creation of order to receipt in Warehouse. Monitor inventory levels to maximize stock position and minimize unproductive inventory at the product level working with the Merchandise Planner to ensure that approved strategies and financial goals are achieved.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Generate Purchase Orders with guidance from the Merchandise PlannerUse financial and quantitative information to optimize inventory receipt flow to adhere to warehouse receiving constraintsPartner with vendors to optimize shipping parameters based on business needsMaintain forecasts and ordering constraints for all vendors and itemsTrack and manage open Purchase Orders and regularly follow up with Vendors on shipping statusReport on late shipments and work with Sourcing and Buying to resolve any ongoing issuesWork with Planner to monitor sales and inventory levels and adjust purchase orders accordingly to drive sales and profitabilityCreate and generate reports, analyses, and scenarios to drive inventory strategy decisions, understand trends, and facilitate planning team deliverablesGenerate and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and seasonal sales reportingAnalyze historical and current trends to identify risks and opportunities; partner with Manager to develop an action plan to achieve department goalsAssist Planner with executing markdown and promotional strategies and store replenishment Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experienceMinimum 1 year of experience in inventory analysis, planning, allocation, buying, production or sourcingHigh proficiency in ExcelThorough understanding of retail mathStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and able to work in an ever-changing environment with efficiency and accuracy Arhaus is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
