Analyst in Planning Department will play a crucial role in supporting the demand planning, analysis and work with scheduling operations of the company. This individual will work closely with the scheduling team (from manufacturing) to analyze key data, develop forecast, track performance metrics, and provide actionable insights to optimize scheduling efficiency and resource allocation. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the manufacturing scheduling team to develop and maintain accurate planning forecasts, and budgets. Analyze planning/scheduling data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in resource utilization and efficiency. Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations detailing scheduling performance, coordinate with Finance on financial metrics, and recommendations for optimization between manufacturing plants. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to scheduling operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance performance. Assist in the development and implementation of scheduling policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide decision support to management as needed. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, such as Sales, Finance-Cost Accounting and Project Budget Analysis, Operations-Project Management, and Manufacturing-Schedulers and Plant Managers, to support company-wide initiatives and projects. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to planning and scheduling analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) welcomed. Proven experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related field, preferably in scheduling or operations environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
