Higher education (University degree or higher) in the relevant speciality and not less than 2 years of work experience as Planning Engineer. Main functions: Provide effective support to his/her Line Manager. Provide a planning function for work performed within PED for a particular project or projects; Responsible for coordination and submission of planning/progress data to support monthly progress reports and other statistical corporate data, ensuring it is accurate and reported in a timely fashion; Providing professional assistance and guidance to the project team in developing and implementing the project plan, monitoring project progress, and recording/reporting the impact of changes, statusing and forecasting an integrated project schedule (resources, cost and QTY loaded schedule), so that the schedule could be executed in an efficient manner; Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, S-Curves, schedule analysis, and what-if scenarios. Must maintain records of scope changes and variances that potentially affect schedule performance. Must understand the Scope of the Work to be performed and also be prepared; the planning data process input requires an understanding of the constraints and significant considerations specific to the end of project deliverables; Develop and analyze the project schedules, implement SRA software, conduct time impact and delay analysis, and review periodic schedule updates; Support the project team efforts toward the development of the project plan and understanding that project plan into the project schedule; Prepare overall plans for proposed work to be used as the basis of economic evaluation and Authorisation of Expenditure and cost estimation preparation; Monitor and update accurate schedule progress towards achieving the desired project completion date and inform the project team of changes to the schedule outcome; Assure the credibility of the information contained in the schedule; Develop at the completion of the project the recording of the project’s historical schedule information and lessons learned; Develop a master project schedule, identifying major milestones to achieve the project completion; Develop detailed schedules by WBS and assign labour and non-labour to each activity to determine progress requirements to meet the project completion date; Implement and control detailed progress measurement processes; Interface with Contractors as required to obtain planning and progress data; Coordinate preparation of weekly and monthly planning/progress data for input to reports for Project activities; Interface with Departments where relevant across KPO (e.g., PED, Operations Directorate Planning Department) in order to develop and maintain departmental project or business plans. Necessary knowledge and skills: Intermediate (B1) English level is an advantage for this role; Experience in EPC project management as a Planning Engineer or Scheduler. Background in managing schedules from Level 1 to Level 3. Familiarity with all planning activities, including progress tracking, forecasting, and reporting; Sound understanding of full cycle development planning from Define through to Handover to operations; Knowledge of regulating documents such as resolutions, instructions, orders and other guiding, methodical and also regulating documents on planning, and analysis of project execution activities; Organisation of Company planned performance; Procedure for development of overall Company long-term and annual plans for production-economical activities; Planning – documentation; Methods and planning procedures of the company; Economy, process engineering, organisation of labour and control; #J-18808-Ljbffr
