Role Responsibilities

  • Financial Leadership:
  • Prepare and present monthly financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow.
  • Conduct variance analysis on key performance indicators to support strategic decision-making.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing insights through sales and margin analysis.
  • Lead weekly cash forecasting and various periodic reports to enhance business operations.
  • Audit and Compliance:
  • Act as the primary contact for internal and external audits, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
  • Manage tax return preparations and other tax-related inquiries for assigned sites.
  • Team Development:
  • Mentor and manage assigned staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Strategic Support:
  • Coordinate capital expenditure requests and track approved projects.
  • Advise on accounting issues, establishing consistent policies and procedures across the organization.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience:
  • At least 10 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace industry experience is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of expertise in cost accounting.
  • At least 3 years of experience supervising and developing direct reports.

Key Skills and Abilities

  • Financial Expertise: Deep understanding of US GAAP as it applies to manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in full-cycle budgeting, tax compliance, and auditing.
  • Advanced Tools: Mastery of Excel and experience with ERP systems (Infor Visual preferred).
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to navigate unexpected challenges.
  • Integrity and Confidentiality: Uphold the highest standards in securing company records and communications.
  • Adaptability: Self-manage with efficiency, responding swiftly to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
