Job Responsibilities Project Ownership: Lead capital projects from concept through completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery. Maintain strict adherence to safety, food safety, and environmental standards while minimizing disruption to plant operations. Maintenance Systems: Design, implement, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs—including TPM and related strategies—to maximize equipment uptime and plant efficiency while reducing downtime and operational disruptions. Team Leadership & Safety: Manage and develop the maintenance team by assigning tasks, enforcing policies, and providing clear direction. Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company regulations. Problem Solving: Provide effective short-term fixes and sustainable long-term solutions to equipment and operational challenges. Troubleshoot and analyze problems to prevent recurrence and maintain smooth production flow. Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate maintenance effectiveness, equipment reliability, supplier performance, and overall operational efficiency. Use insights to drive continuous improvement. Leadership Coverage: Step in during the absence of key personnel to ensure responsibilities are managed effectively and operations continue without interruption.
