This role applies advanced engineering principles to develop innovative solutions, manage capital projects, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing facilities. The position requires independent technical judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and ownership from concept through execution. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management Lead the design, planning, and execution of engineering and improvement projects from concept through implementation. Define project scope, deliverables, budgets, and timelines while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and leadership to identify opportunities for technical improvement. Manage and oversee contractors, vendors, and suppliers involved in system design, equipment procurement, and installation.Maintain regular, reliable attendance and actively participate in required meetings, trainings, and company events in alignment with business needs.Controls Engineering Design, program, and validate industrial control systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens). Develop and maintain control logic, system documentation, and electrical schematics in accordance with engineering standards. Integrate automation with mechanical and process systems to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency. Provide expert-level support for controls troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.Mechanical Engineering Design, modify, and optimize mechanical systems, machinery, and tooling to improve performance and maintainability. Create and review detailed 3D models, drawings, and specifications using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.). Analyze root causes of mechanical or process failures and implement substantive engineering solutions. Lead preventive maintenance enhancements and equipment reliability programs.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field (required). 4+ years of work experience in an engineering role in a manufacturing environment (Food & Beverage manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred).Demonstrated proficiency in PLC/HMI programming, automation design, and mechanical systems. Proficiency with CAD software; ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills. Familiarity with industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, etc.), P&ID, and process instrumentation. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Project management experience in planning, executing, and documenting automation projects.Bilingual (Spanish & English) strongly preferred.Must be able to work a flexible schedule (on call) as needed.Must be able to work in a manufacturing setting with frequent exposure to production environments and machinery.Must be able to travel occasionally to project sites or vendors.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.Pressed Juicery, Inc. participates in the E-Verify program.
