Plant Engineer Manufacturing Facility | Scranton, PA
Location:

Exciting Opportunity for a Plant Engineer in a High-Tech Manufacturing Facility!
A leading manufacturer specializing in advanced material technologies is seeking a Plant Engineer to support its production facility in Scranton, PA. This role is crucial in optimizing plant performance, maintaining critical equipment, and leading projects to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Optimize Production & Equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with manufacturing equipment and processes.
Improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate with teams to enhance plant performance.

Lead Capital & Engineering Projects
Plan and oversee large equipment upgrades and new installations.
Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure efficiency.
Work with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to execute projects.

Facility & Utility Management
Maintain essential factory systems, including power, water recycling, compressed air, HVAC, and wastewater treatment.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to maintain efficiency.

Ensure Safety & Compliance
Monitor environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Oversee permits related to wastewater and other plant utilities.
Support emergency repair needs (occasional nights/weekends required).

What Were Looking For:
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
5+ years of experience in plant, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.

Technical Skills:
Strong problem-solving and project management abilities.
Knowledge of CAD software and engineering tools.
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and safety/environmental regulations.

Soft Skills:
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Strong communication and collaboration with teams at all levels.
