Position Overview
The Plant Manager will play a key leadership role within a rapidly growing manufacturing organization in the metals industry. As the company continues to expand and strengthen its operational capabilities, this position will be critical in driving plant performance, optimizing processes, and developing a high-performing team.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations within the facility, ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will lead a team of professionals, manage resources effectively, and implement strategic initiatives to drive continuous improvement and meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and lead a team of supervisors and production staff, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.
- Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations.
- Develop and manage production schedules to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and reduce downtime.
- Prepare and manage budgets, controlling costs while maximizing production output.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing operations management, in metal forging.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
