You’ll play a critical role in driving Lean manufacturing principles, strengthening operational discipline, and partnering cross-functionally to grow the Door and Frame business in alignment with Door Group.You will also:Lead all manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, inventory control, labor planning, and equipment maintenanceDrive operational excellence through Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiativesMonitor and analyze production metrics (output, efficiency, downtime, quality, and cost) to identify improvement opportunitiesOversee order entry, customer service, production planning, and forecasting to meet customer demandEnsure consistent achievement of production, quality, safety, and cost targets while maintaining a long-term strategic viewBuild, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team in partnership with site HRDrive a strong culture of safety, accountability, and employee engagementDevelop and execute effective retention, succession, and workforce planning strategiesBe a visible, accessible leader who coaches and mentors teams across shiftsFoster a collaborative, respectful, and performance-driven work environmentLead cross-functional collaboration across departments to achieve company objectivesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate policies, AADG programs, and theASSA ABLOY Code of ConductThe Skills and Experience You would Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferredProven senior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (metal forming experience a plus)Strong background in manufacturing operations, including production planning, quality, cost control, and continuous improvementExperience leading in a unionized manufacturing environmentSolid financial acumen, including P&L ownership and understanding of financial statementsExperience coaching and mentoring teams, willingness to be a physically present leader who is accessible and visible during shifts.Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage metrics, forecasting, and reporting to drive performanceStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholdersProficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)Our Benefits:We believe in creating opportunities and providing benefits that empower you to grow, thrive, and build a rewarding lifelong career with us.
