Plant Manager Apply
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Plant Manager to oversee our client's manufacturing operations in Oaks, PA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in production management, leadership, and a deep understanding of plant operations. This role involves managing all aspects of the plant to ensure efficient production, quality control, and safety compliance, while working to optimize performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily plant operations to ensure production goals are met, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and manage production schedules and workflows.
- Monitor and maintain the plant’s equipment, facility, and inventory, ensuring all are kept in optimal working order.
- Establish and enforce safety standards, in compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork and accountability.
- Implement and manage cost-saving strategies while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain, to achieve business objectives.
- Analyze production data to identify and resolve issues, improve processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and manage the plant’s budget, controlling operational costs and maximizing profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a plant management or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
