I am currently working with an extremely progressive company that is one of the largest and most successful in their sector of the livestock feed market. They know that their success is due to the success of their employees. I just received a call from the Regional Operations Manager and the Director of HR that they are in urgent need of a Plant Manager near in the Minneapolis area, to help oversee one of their fully automated manufacturing sites. They are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, responsible for manufacturing efficiency, inventory management, order fulfillment and delivery, operational maintenance and repair.

What makes this opportunity Unique, is that as the Plant Manager you have full oversite of this facility. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager. Working as a team to fulfill location goals and assuring quality and regulatory compliance.

The right candidate will have experience overseeing operations for feed, grain or other ag facility.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a production supervisor and/or plant operations experience in feed, food or other manufacturing facility
  • Need to be highly motivated, have great communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to generate, read, analyze and understand financial reports and budgets
  • Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform all operations
