Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fairbury, IL, for a Plant Manager. The Plant Manager will oversee daily plant operations, including production planning, staff supervision, and adherence to quality standards. The role involves ensuring manufacturing efficiency, maintaining equipment and safety protocols, optimizing operations, and achieving overall production goals. The individual will also lead key initiatives to enhance process improvements and drive team development while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company policies.


Qualifications

  • Expertise in Plant Management, Plant Operations, and overseeing day-to-day activities in a manufacturing environment
  • Skills in Operations Management, Production Planning, and ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently
  • Experience in Manufacturing Operations and hands-on knowledge of production systems
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities to manage teams and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred
  • Prior experience in the food production or meat processing industry is a plus
