The Plant Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the overall performance and strategic direction of the manufacturing operations. This position collaborates closely with the CEO to set and implement business strategies and ensure the company's values, culture, and objectives are always upheld and advanced. Client will re-locate a qualified candidate. Required Skills:Operational Execution & Production Control Safety & Facility Management Financial Performance & Cost Control Team Leadership & Workforce Development Continuous Improvement & Metrics Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical), Business Administration, or a related technical field. Professional Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, with at least 3-5 years in a Plant Manager or Operations Manager role. Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems for production scheduling and inventory management. Experience in manufacturing processes, specifically welding and fabrication operations. Lean Expertise: Demonstrated experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of OSHA safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry-specific quality certifications including AWS certification, ISO 9001, and AISC. Financial Literacy: Proven financial knowledge with specific experience in managing Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), labor variances, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning.
