Job Description

The Plant Manager is responsible for overall leadership of the facility. This role oversees daily operations, driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while leading continuous improvement initiatives. The Plant Manager will develop high-performance teams, ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO standards, and advance the company’s Operational Excellence roadmap.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee plant operations and production performance, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and cost goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop plant teams, foster accountability, and employee engagement.
  • Drive Operational Excellence initiatives, including Daily Management, TPM, 6S, Lean practices, and EHS improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 & AS9100 through SOP adherence, audits, & corrective actions.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality) to resolve production issues and improve processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and use data-driven problem-solving to reduce waste, downtime, and scrap.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field; Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • 5+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in leadership, preferably deep draw metal forming.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 standards and audit processes.
  • Proven success implementing Lean/6S, TPM, and safety programs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills; bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems, budgeting, and cost control.
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is required to comply with ITAR/AS9100 technical data access regulations.
