Puglisi Egg Farms is looking for a full time plant manager at our Howell egg grading facility. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, good mechanic, and fluent in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on leader in all areas of the grading plant
• Create the daily run schedule and supervise machine changeovers
• Maximize up-time of the plant by continually monitoring machinery and making timely adjustments and fixes as necessary
• Provide technical and hands-on assistance (electrical/mechanical/plumbing) to maintenance on major machine breakdowns and issues
• Maintain and continually improve the preventive maintenance program
• Keep an adequate inventory of spare parts available to support maintenance
• Maintain safe and clean working conditions
• Maintain and continually make improvements to the Safe Quality Food program
• Train new team members
• Motivate, train, and coach team members in a positive and effective manner to reach their fullest potential
• Communicate with sales, distribution, and warehouse personnel to ensure the timely and accurate production of customer orders

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership/supervisory position in manufacturing
• Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and perform under pressure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Strong oral and written communication skills
