Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Plant Manager / Site Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Mojave, CA facility within the Aerospace industry. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, safety, quality, and customer delivery performance while aligning site operations with broader business and operational strategies.The ideal candidate will provide strategic, tactical, and developmental leadership to the site, ensuring efficient product delivery while maintaining the highest standards of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, and Customer Service.This is an onsite role reporting to the Director of Operations and Supply Chain.Key ResponsibilitiesLead by example in Safety, Quality, and Compliance, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory requirements across all site functions.Monitor and improve Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance to support a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.Build and foster a culture of accountability, action, operational discipline, and leadership.Develop, monitor, and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive corrective actions where performance deviates from plan.Facilitate effective communication across the site and with offsite teams, business units, and leadership.Provide strategic thinking and leadership to identify and implement efficient operational methodologies and process improvements.Develop and align operational strategies and processes to support standardization, collaboration, and execution.Deliver on financial and operating plans, including production targets, expense management, and variance control.Support Working Capital management and proactively address any deviations from plan.Evaluate technological and industry changes to identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity gains, and business growth.Drive improvements in safety, process efficiency, production rates, yields, and quality through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for critical operational, safety, and quality issues.Ensure compliance with all Quality and EHS policies, including Management of Change (MOC) and RCCA / CAR processes.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline10+ years of operations and engineering experience in a manufacturing environment5+ years of management or supervisory experienceDemonstrated success in improving and sustaining manufacturing performance and operational metricsExperience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, ideally AS9100DStrong leadership skills with the ability to identify, develop, and mentor talentExperience with labor relations is a plusMust be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, political asylee, or refugeeMust have or be eligible to obtain Top Secret Clearance
