Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Quality Manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive automotive manufacturing knowledge.


Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include ensuring, in the plant, the implementation and respect of quality policies and the quality management system according to IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and internal requirements.
  • Represents the customer at the plant.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements from the industrialization phases.
  • Plan the measures to guarantee the product quality.
  • Manage the plant quality technicians / engineers.
  • Proposes changes of the quality management system to improve it and adapt it to customer and other shareholders expectations in order to assure the organization's competitiveness.
  • Participates in the Plant Processes improvement plan.
  • Leads on Product Safety and Conformity Representative (PSCR) related activities, while legal associated implications lie on the Plant Manager function.
  • Authorizes charges back for customer serial life claims or warranties.
  • Ensures coordination with the factory's SQA, and formalize quality incidents to suppliers.


Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Plant Quality Manager or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
