Plant SupervisorWe are seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee daily operations of our plant/kitchen, managing multiple department Team Leaders, including Production and Quality Assurance. The Plant Supervisor ensures efficient production, high-quality output, adherence to food safety standards, and continuous improvement across all areas.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring productivity, yield optimization, and quality standards are met.Monitor production to ensure compliance with food safety practices and manufacturing guidelines.Collaborate with QA team to identify and resolve departmental issues.Train, coach, and mentor team members to achieve productivity and quality targets.Review and update work aids to ensure verification of product quality.Manage daily production processes, including scheduling, reporting, and inventory oversight.Assist in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives to optimize operations.Analyze production and operating reports to resolve manufacturing and maintenance issues, minimizing costs and preventing delays.Lead problem-solving efforts and goal-setting for supervisors and staff in areas such as manufacturing processes, scheduling, and equipment management.Cross-train employees, evaluate production staff performance, and recommend disciplinary actions when necessary.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and employee engagement.Participate in special projects and generate summaries of project performance.Qualifications:Minimum 3 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role or 4 years as a lead.Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.Knowledge of quality systems and statistics preferred.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Reliable, responsible, and proactive in taking initiative.Benefits:Competitive pay ($75k$80k)TuesdaySaturday schedule 5:00 am Start TimeWork Occasional OvertimeOpportunities for growth and developmentJob Type: Full-time401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceWork Location: In person
