Job Summary
As a Plastic Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining various plastic processing machines. What you'll do

• Operate and monitor plastics processing equipment including injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion machines.
• Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machine issues and implement solutions promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to lean manufacturing principles.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery including CNC lathes and press brake machines for fabrication tasks.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
• Document production data accurately for reporting purposes.

Basic qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operation.
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes and tools.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
