With over a century of industry expertise, this organization focuses on delivering high-quality, American-made solutions in combustion and fuel oil system technologies.This role involves designing, programming, testing, and maintaining PLC-based control systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams-including electrical, mechanical, software, and proposal engineers-to deliver reliable, integrated automation solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop PLC and loop controller systems based on project specifications.Program and troubleshoot PLCs and loop controllers from a variety of manufacturers, such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric (Modicon), and in-house systems.Develop and maintain Human Machine Interface (HMI) terminals for end-user control and interaction.Document control system designs and maintain records of all system modifications.Participate in system testing, commissioning, and startup activities.Collaborate closely with project managers and proposal engineers to ensure timely and accurate project execution.Apply knowledge of combustion control concepts including Burner Management Systems, Draft Control, Drum Level Control, and Fuel-Air Ratio Control.Travel occasionally (approximately 10%) for meetings and on-site system support.QualificationsAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.Hands-on experience programming PLCs using ladder logic, function block diagrams, and other control languages.Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and Ethernet/IP.Experience with HMI design and SCADA systems (e.g., Ignition SCADA, IFIX, Citect) is strongly preferred.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Willingness to learn-training will be provided for the right candidate.Benefits401(k) with employer matchingHealth, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings account (HSA)Life insurancePaid time off (PTO)Performance-based quarterly bonusesThis opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to contribute to impactful industrial projects while working in a collaborative, family-oriented environment with deep roots in American manufacturing and innovation.
