Position: PLC Engineer

We are seeking an experienced PLC Engineer with at least 5 years in industrial automation. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Allen-Bradley Logix, Vision Systems, and HMI/SCADA systems. In this role, you will design, program, and troubleshoot automation systems to optimize manufacturing processes. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and efficient operations, meeting project and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems, with a focus on Allen-Bradley Logix platforms.
- Develop and integrate HMI/SCADA systems for effective management and control of automated equipment.
- Implement Vision Systems for quality control, detection, and inspection.
- Support commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of automation and control systems.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automation hardware and software.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance teams to deliver automation solutions.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including PLC programs, logic diagrams, and system manuals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all automation processes.
- Provide technical support during system installations, upgrades, and modifications.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- 5+ years of experience in PLC programming, industrial automation, and control systems.
- Proficiency in Allen-Bradley Logix platforms.
- Experience with Vision Systems for quality control in automation applications.
- Strong skills in developing and integrating HMI/SCADA systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field (preferred).
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Modbus).
- Experience in control panel design and electrical drawing using AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and adherence to safety standards.
