PLC Programmer (Relocation Available) Apply
We are seeking a highly skilled PLC Programmer with strong expertise in Siemens automation platforms , particularly the TIA Portal and S7-1500 PLCs . This role requires a deep understanding of industrial automation , electrical systems , and the integration of control systems . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems in a dynamic manufacturing or industrial environment. This is a fully onsite role located in Fishers, IN. Key Responsibilities Develop, configure, and troubleshoot Siemens PLC programs for automated systems using TIA Portal . Implement and test control logic for motors, conveyors, drives , and related plant systems. Program and configure HMIs and motion control components . Interpret and work from electrical/electronic schematics and diagrams to ensure proper equipment wiring. Perform system testing , debugging, and ongoing support to ensure optimal performance of PLCs, drives, and motor systems. Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation , including technical reports on programs, drive settings, and troubleshooting activities. Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deploy automation solutions while adhering to safety and compliance standards. Understand and work with automation components, electromechanics, and pneumatics . Utilize knowledge of machine networks such as TCP/UDP, ProfiBUS, and ProfiNET . Work with programming languages including AWL, STL, KOP, and VB . Prepare, update, and execute automated software tests to validate control logic. Document all development processes, procedures, and test results. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in PLC programming, with emphasis on Siemens TIA Portal . Proficiency in Siemens S7-1500 , HMI, and motion control systems. Experience with Fanuc or Staübli robots is a plus. Background in Agile development environments , with hands‑on experience in debugging, testing, and team-based problem solving. Comfortable working in industrial environments (hot, cold, dusty, noisy, or oily conditions). Strong problem‑solving , technical , and communication skills . Ability to work independently as well as in a team‑oriented environment. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field + 1–3 years of relevant experience Why would with us?
