Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled PLC / Controls & Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in PLC programming, industrial automation, and SCADA systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Siemens PLCs using TIA Portal, supporting automation system development, troubleshooting, and commissioning in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, program, and maintain PLC control systems for industrial automation projects
  • Work with Siemens PLCs using TIA Portal
  • Design, configure, and support SCADA and HMI systems
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging of PLC, SCADA, and control systems
  • Support system testing, commissioning, and start-up activities
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, and P&IDs
  • Integrate PLCs with field devices such as sensors, actuators, VFDs, and drives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams
  • Ensure systems meet safety, quality, and industry standards
  • Prepare technical documentation and provide on-site support

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with PLC programming and control systems
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal
  • Experience with SCADA systems and HMI development
  • Solid understanding of industrial automation and control architecture
  • Proven troubleshooting and commissioning capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to other PLC platforms (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.)
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP)
  • Background in manufacturing or industrial automation environments
