Full Time, Permanent Position - Full Benefits
7am-4pm Weekdays (On call schedule for weekends if required)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering
  • 1 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in root cause problem-solving, visualization, and quality tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and quality management software.
  • Skilled in programming software, including ProWORX NXT, Modsoft, PanelBuilder, Magelis, V/V+, VisionWare, MotionWare, TestPoint, Fix 32 Intellution, RSView, RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, and Bitrode LCN.
  • Knowledgeable in college-level geometry, algebra, and trigonometry.
  • Strong skills in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley & Modicon), robot programming and troubleshooting (Adept & Fanuc), and electrical code compliance.
  • Essential Functions :Design, develop, evaluate, analyze, select, and order appropriate and cost-effective equipment for manufacturing company products and systems
  • Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, processes, and systems
  • Stay current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues
  • Study equipment performance and reliability
  • Provide technical support to operations and other disciplines within the engineering organization
  • Identify and develop processes needed to produce specific products and components
  • Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and perform job functions
  • Work on problems of diverse scope, analyzing data to evaluate identifiable factors
  • Implement PLC and Robot logic changes Provide technical support to maintenance and operations
  • Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting, specifically with Allen Bradley and Modicon systems
  • Skilled in robot programming and troubleshooting for Adept and Fanuc robots
  • Knowledgeable in electrical code compliance
  • Coordinate electrical control equipment builds, installation and training
  • Oversee and coordinate the efforts of company employees and vendors to ensure the successful achievement of established objectives
  • Operate under general supervision
