Job description
- A PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Functional Business Analyst (BA) is a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and the business, providing strategic analysis and solutions for PLM projects. Here are some of the typical responsibilities and qualifications for this role:
Responsibilities:
- Testing and deploying PLM solutions .
- Providing ongoing technical support to end users .
- Architecting solutions to ensure effective use of product lifecycle management systems per industry standards and best practices .
- Analyzing the current technology infrastructure and its ability to support business objectives .
- Assisting with Teamcenter technical presentations and demonstrations to prospects and existing customers .
- Working closely with Sales Account Managers on opportunities and projects .
- Providing sound technical advice to the project manager .
- Running workshops and being able to gather requirements .
- Qualifications:
- A relevant degree such as Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business, Education, Engineering, Project Management, Management, MBA, Computer Science, Finance, Business/Administration .
- Certifications like PMP, PMI, PRINCE, PMBOK, PRINCE, APICS, PMO, JCNIA, CCNA, FMA may be required .
- In-depth knowledge of Connect and MHHE digital products across business units .
- Good understanding of operations management .
- Project Management Certification (PRINCE II, PMP, Agile or otherwise) and be an outcome-focused self-starter .
