Job Purpose & Summary:

R.F. Fager Supply, a trusted and long-time distributor of plumbing, HVAC and kitchen and bath products is growing and expanding to the Baltimore Metro area. Develop and build a customer base of companies which build and service the multifamily and new home construction markets. These customers consist of but are not limited to multifamily new build, multifamily renovations and new home builders (single family, town home, duplex, condos).

This individual will sell the full breadth of plumbing and HVAC products offered by Fager Supply with a focus on kitchen and bath products: cabinetry, fixtures, China, etc.....

Essential Functions:

  • Meet and exceed all sales and growth goals
  • Facilitate communications between the customer, sales and operations teams including any changes in scope, pricing, lead time, quality requirements, etc.
  • Corresponds with customers to help create opportunities
  • Facilitate and increase sales
  • Customer service focused with a good attitude in a teamwork environment
  • Build lasting relationships with customers
  • Grow our business by identifying new opportunities and prospecting for new clients.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/ Experience:

Required:

    • Previous outside sales experience in cabinetry, plumbing, HVAC or other building materials
    • Previous outside sales experience selling to multifamily organizations and/or homebuilders
    • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, follow up, and close deals
    • Project management, new business development and customer retention skills a must
    • Exceptional oral and written communications skills
    • Strong computer and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Ability to process quotes and orders through the company's Solar/Eclipse system
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Desired:
    • Cabinetry sales and design experience
    • College degree
