Description The Plumbing Field Operations Manager is responsible for the oversight of all projects in the field. This includes securing all required staffing and other project resources, acting as the liaison between the Project Manager and Field personnel and ensuring successful overall project progression and closure on multiple projects simultaneously. This position will identify delays/issues and work with the Project Manager and Field Management to develop the recovery plan to bring the jobs in on time and within budget and will support in securing the proper resources defined in the recovery. Travel is required. Requirements Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive) Ensure all required personnel are defined and assigned to the respective projects in a timely manner. Coordinate with Project Managers and Sr. Project Managers to understand project schedule and ensure compliance to both schedule and budget. Oversee overall project performance on multiple jobs. Review all schedules on a regular basis and identify potential risks for delays and additional costs. Work closely with project Superintendents to ensure compliance to job specifications, safety requirements and company policies. Support compliance of all required reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Work directly with Human Resources and Recruiting to ensure timely execution of needed personnel. Support employee engagement initiatives and recognition in the field. Oversee quality on all projects. Liaison support between Project Managers and Superintendents and General Contractors. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to breakdown construction operations into a logical sequence of activities. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to professionally communicate in all environments and to all levels. Must be able to meet deadlines and put in the time needed to get the job done. Effective oral and written communication skills. Must be willing to travel. Strong organizational, interpersonal skills. Detail oriented with the ability to recognize discrepancies. Problem Solving abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google Mail, Google Meets and other job specific software as identified by the company. Ability to work in a team environment. Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Administration, or equivalent related work experience preferred. OSHA 30 Certification required. Minimum of 10 or more years Construction Management experience preferred. Physical Requirements Required to stand, walk, and sit. Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls. Reach with hand (s) and arm (s). Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
