Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in Psychiatry or Mental Health
  • Current license as a PMHNP or CNS in Colorado, in good standing;
  • Prescriptive authority as defined by applicable state statute;
  • Two years experience within the normal scope of psychiatric practice;
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles of psychiatric nursing;
  • Advanced knowledge of medication/medication and medication/food interactions;
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in psychiatric assessment and ongoing psychopharmacological treatment;
  • Ability to obtain DATA 2000 waiver within 6 months of hire;
  • Current Colorado driver's license;
  • Access to reliable transportation during work hours;
  • Computer proficiency.

What We'd Like to See in You-The Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience caring for adults and children with addictions, and severe and persistent mental illness;
  • Track record of working successfully as a part of a multidisciplinary team;
  • Experience in managed care environments;
  • Spanish language skills.
