PMO LeadLocation: Vacaville, CA onsiteThe Associate Director, Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is supporting processes implementation and governance associated to a given portfolio at site level. They will ensure all projects are executed to a defined standard within the site department/functions.The full-time base annual salary for this position is expected to range between $149,000-$253,000. In addition, below you will find a comprehensive summary of the benefits package we offer:Performance-related bonusMedical, dental and vision insurance401(k) matching planLife insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability insuranceEmployee assistance programsPaid Time OffCompensation for this role will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.What you will do:Support implementation and governance of PMO processes across the site's full project portfolio.Coordinate site-level project validation and prioritization based on available resource and lead site prioritization reviews and support training and rollout of PMO processes.Provide full transparency into all active projects requiring site resources, working closely with other PMO groups to manage dependencies.Contribute to the development of standardized documentation, templates, and reporting in alignment with Bio Division PMO.Define and manage project allocations and time-booking systems to ensure effective resource management.Oversee the Demand process, coordinating ideation and stage-gate meetings for new project approvals.Support preparation of program and project funding requests (ESR, CAR, Lump Sum) as needed.Ensure accurate site portfolio reporting and escalate risks/issues to the Division level when required.What we are looking for:Bachelor's degree in a scientific, IT, or business-related field or equivalent experience preferred.Extensive years of experience in project management with proficient experience within a PMO environment.Strong understanding of portfolio governance, resource management, and project prioritization.PMP certification preferred (PMI).Ability to collaborate across sites and functions, manage dependencies, and drive process adherence.Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder-management capabilities.About LonzaAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
