Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, tracking milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure the project stays on schedule.
2. Act as the primary liaison between the Technology Department, project team members, and external stakeholders.
3. Coordinate and facilitate kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and debrief sessions with staff.
4. Prepare and deliver comprehensive documentation, including:
o Technical reports detailing project findings and recommendations.
o Executive summaries tailored to non-technical stakeholders.
o Presentations for district administrators and the Board of Education.
5. Ensure all project activities, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, align with the defined scope of work.
6. Ensure minimal disruption to district operations by coordinating project activities with staff and other contractors.
7. Manage risks and resolve issues quickly, escalating significant problems to leadership as needed.
8. Review and approve deliverables to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
9. Track project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations, providing periodic status updates to stakeholders.
10. Maintain records of all project-related communications, decisions, and changes for audit and accountability purposes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in project management, IT, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex IT or cybersecurity projects.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is required.
Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Must be available to be onsite within 2 hours of notice.
Experience with reporting, documentation, and creating executive-level presentations.
Required Technical Skills:
Project Management Tools: Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project.
Documentation Tools: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Confluence.
Familiarity with reporting tools: Tableau or Power BI for visualizing project metrics.
Understanding of cybersecurity and IT principles to bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong skills in risk assessment and issue resolution.
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM required.
