Pool Registered Nurse, CVICU, Per Diem, 6:30P-7:00A, Highly Specialized – 158386 The Pool Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse – Pool DPC RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate proficiency and mastery of core competencies, including assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service. The RN delivers patient‑family centered care in a culturally competent manner, utilizing and promoting evidence‑based practice standards of quality, safety and service. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred). Registered Nurse license. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Completion of a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent for independent practice. Minimum 18 months RN experience, with at least 1 year acute CVICU experience. Freshheart experience required. Required to work minimum shift including weekend and holiday requirements as outlined in nursing staffing policy. Additional certifications may be required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, or ONS‑Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card.
