We’re hiring a hands-on Sales & Operations Manager. You’ll manage the full sales lifecycle—new builds, remodels, and upgrades—while coordinating schedules, crews, vendors, and customers. This is a key leadership role in a family-owned company.

 

You’ll work directly with ownership, act as the primary customer contact, and ensure jobs are delivered on time and to standard. Ideal candidates are strong in sales and estimating, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. Success requires flexibility, ownership, sound decision-making, and involvement from sale through project completion.

 

This role is not a fit for candidates seeking a highly structured office environment or a strictly sales-only position.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary customer contact from initial inquiry through project completion
  • Manage incoming leads for new pool installations, remodels, upgrades, and service opportunities
  • Conduct site visits, assess project scope, and develop accurate estimates and proposals
  • Prepare, present, and close contracts while achieving revenue and margin targets
  • Ensure timely collection of deposits and progress payments in alignment with contract terms
  • Develop and support marketing initiatives to generate qualified leads and strengthen brand visibility
  • Coordinate scheduling for installations, maintenance, and service work
  • Ensure smooth handoff from sales to field teams and oversee job execution
  • Monitor project progress, proactively resolve issues, and support warranty or post-install follow-ups
  • Coordinate material ordering, vendor relationships, and subcontractors
  • Utilize CRM and scheduling software to manage customer accounts, contracts, and workflows
  • Track key performance metrics related to sales, profitability, scheduling efficiency, and service performance
  • Identify and implement process improvements; help document and refine SOPs
  • Support daily operations to ensure efficient resource allocation and consistent execution

 

 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in pool sales, construction, servicing, project management (or) Background in residential construction, outdoor living, or similar projects preferred
  • Proven sales and estimating experience
  • Proficiency with CRM, scheduling, or field service software (Pool360 a plus)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
