Las Vegas Petroleum is a rapidly growing operator of travel centers, consisting of gas stations, convenience stores and restaurants. With 13 Conoco-branded C&G assets in the Las Vegas Metro area, and the ability to purchase unbranded fuel through partnerships with Phillips 66, Gulf, Sunoco, 76, and Conoco, we supply over one million gallons of fuel per month to 32 locations. As we expand across the country, we are building out our corporate team to support this growth, ensuring low prices and high service at all of our locations.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter to join our team. The Porter will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of the facility by performing a variety of tasks such as cleaning, delivering supplies, and assisting with event setup. This position is critical in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the premises.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, restrooms, entrances, and lobbies. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Maintenance Assistance: Assist with minor repairs or maintenance tasks, such as light bulb changes, cleaning air filters, and reporting major issues to the maintenance team.
• Set-Up and Event Assistance: Help set up furniture, equipment, and other items for meetings, events, or conferences. Tear down setups when events conclude.
• Security Support: Monitor facility access points and assist in ensuring that only authorized personnel are on the premises. Report any suspicious activity to management or security personnel.
• Customer Service: Assist guests or employees with basic requests and directions. Ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the facility.
• Inventory Control: Keep track of cleaning supplies, materials, and other necessary items, alerting supervisors when inventory is low.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in accordance with safety regulations. Use proper cleaning supplies and equipment as instructed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a porter, janitorial, or custodial role
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Flexibility to work evening, weekend, or holiday shifts as required.
