Post Doctoral Fellow - Bioengineering role at Clemson University MBA Programs Clemson University: College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences: Bioengineering Location: Clemson, SC Open Date: Jan 19, 2024 Job Description A highly motivated postdoctoral research associate is sought for constructing a testbed that recreates several physical variables relevant to the surfaces of marine vessels, including shear forces, temperature, and pressure. The experimental results from the testbed will guide the design of beneficial microbial communities. The postdoc will work closely with optics experts to integrate cutting‑edge imaging equipment and with microbiologists to understand and achieve design specifications. Overall, the role requires key work as part of a large, fast‑paced, interdisciplinary project with collaborators at multiple institutions. The position is in the Department of Bioengineering at Clemson University. The initial offer is for a 1‑year position, with possible extensions based on performance and continuation of funding.
