Overview NYMC seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy. The position will be in the Kwak laboratory to study the general mechanisms of enhancer RNAs and RNA condensates. Candidates with a Ph.D. in cell/molecular biology, genetics/genomics, and/or computational biology are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will develop a research project focused on non-coding genetic variants and mutations in nascent RNA and epigenetic studies using systems biology approaches and CRISPR genome editing methods. The candidate will contribute to the training of research assistants and graduate students and actively participate in lab and department meetings. Qualifications: Education requirement: Ph.D. in molecular biology, genetics, genomics, or computational biology. Prior experience: The candidate must have previous experience in molecular biology, genomics, and/or bioinformatics. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with experimental and computational techniques for transcriptomic and epigenomic analyses. Minimum Salary: USD $48,806.40/Yr.
