Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Power BI Technician to join our growing team. This role will focus on developing interactive dashboards, transforming data into actionable insights, and supporting our clients in leveraging Power BI for smarter decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Connect to various data sources and perform data modeling and transformation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather requirements and deliver customized BI solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization in reports.
• Provide support and training to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices.
• Assist in integrating Power BI with document management systems and other platforms.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data visualization principles.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Azure Data Services.
• Familiarity with Laserfiche or other enterprise content management systems.
• Knowledge of Python, R, or other data analysis tools.
• Experience working with government or municipal data.
