We have a great client looking for an Experienced Power Plant Construction Project Manager

The Project Manager has the primary responsibility for Projects from front end development (Assess, Select & Define phases) to detailed design and construction (Execute phase) including procurement, cost control and schedule management.

1. Accountable for delivery of assigned projects within cost and schedule premises at injury free.
2. Manages a team of Contractors.
3. Oversees engineering execution utilizing either on-site design staff or local Engineering companies.
4. Responsible for coordination and management of Project Assurance activities.
5. Responsible for coordination and management of Technical Assurance activities.

Dimensions of the role are:

1. Manages a portfolio 5 to 12 simultaneous projects with competing priorities in various execution phases
2. Portfolio value between $100K to $5 mln
3. Average project headline size greater than $500k
4. Average annual spend greater than $5 mln/yr

Key qualifications and experience:

1. Excellent communication skills
2. Customer focus
3. Leadership and coaching, with a Learner Mindset
4. Engineering or related Technical Degree
5. Strong project management skills
6. Proficient with SAP
7. Experience with managing all phases of a project
8. 10+ years total experience as a project engineer or project manager including experience with maintenance and turnarounds activities.
9. 5+ years experience in Power Generation
