Pre-Kindergarten|Early Childhood|Licensed Assistant Teacher Apply
Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent, ECE Initial Certificate (or working towards), ECE Short Certificate a plus, Early Childhood Experience, two professional references, and understanding of developmentally appropriate practices. Ability to perform the job responsibilities of this position. Be mentally and physically capable of caring for a group of children. Possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and have minimal absences. Have an awareness of the unique needs of young children and have appropriate expectations of their abilities. Be able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children up to 50lbs. Have dependable transportation.
Condition of Employment Passed background check in MERIT & VIRTUS. Be CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certified or obtain certification upon hire. Complete Child Care Basics (to be completed within 90 days of hire) and maintain 10-hour annual in-service training. Show proof of MMR immunization & Tuberculosis test.

Salary: is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per Hour
